That is the whole approach. Find what is actually wrong, explain it in language that makes sense, and only recommend a new boiler when the old one has genuinely reached the end. When a replacement is the right answer, finance is available so it does not have to land in one payment.

I had my boiler repaired by Sandeep from Heathrow Heating & Gas Ltd, and I'm extremely satisfied with the service. Other engineers, including British Gas, advised me to replace the boiler and were unable to fix it. Sandeep came out, carried out a thorough inspection, and clearly explained that only one part was required. He reassured me and arranged the part straight away, returning the same day to complete the repair. The service was excellent, the price was very reasonable, and my boiler is now working perfectly. Sandeep serviced the central heating boiler today. Neither the pump nor the fan were working as the boiler had been turned off for months. But Sandeep managed to get both working again so saved us having to replace them. I would definitely use Sandeep again.
I had a recurring issue with my boiler where I used to reach out to quite a few engineers to fix it and it was always temporary fix, so a friend recommended Heathrow Heating. The service that was provided was excellent, Sandeep was able to identify the problem and fix it, and I have never had a problem with my boiler since then. Overall I would say - Excellent service, reliable and not too expensive. Would highly recommend this company.
We had 2 issues in the same week. We had an issue with our hot water/thermostat followed by a leaking toilet. Sandeep came highly recommended. He was prompt, knowledgeable and talked us through what the issue was and what was needed to fix the problem. We also discussed long term plan. He will always be in our lives for any plumbing or heating needs.
